Dee Daa
Set with the task of reintroducing Thai food to American audiences, Canvas created Dee Daa, a new fast casual restaurant concept that brings a little balance to customers’ hectic days. The brand personality is unique and fun, reflecting the Dee Daa name, Thai for “joyfully or exuberantly”. From concept development, customer research, brand positioning, naming and customer experience strategy, through copywriting, Web site development, employee hiring and training – Canvas was involved every step of the way.
Avon
Product line makeover needs sleeker nomenclature. Despite its strong image as a beauty brand, the complexity and inconsistencies in Avon’s product nomenclature and naming practices were making sales difficult. With the planned launch of a new product set to redefine its hair care line, Canvas worked with Avon to bring greater clarity and a new tone of voice to product naming.
Johnson Controls
Always seeking new ways of strengthening its capabilities and giving customers high quality products, Johnson Controls set its sights on acquiring Michel Thierry Group – a fabric supplier with a strong reputation in the industry. Canvas identified and assessed the potential branding options that would make the most strategic sense for the business and the overall Johnson Controls branding strategy.
Deloitte
A great success story, told responsibly and with purpose. The consulting industry does not want for confidence and strong views. While it’s refreshing to see a firm achieve global leadership with humility, Deloitte needed to harness the power of its story internally, so it could unify and inspire its many associates, partners and firms as they strove for ever greater achievement. Working alongside The Partners, Canvas helped define the key building blocks and write the internal brand story for a new and exciting chapter in Deloitte’s growth.
Blonde + Co
Meet a new shade of Blonde. Over the past several years, the company had grown from a small group of hairstyle video production folks to a true “collective” of video, photography, music, editing, communications and interactive design experts. Canvas repositioned the company around the firm’s shared passion for, and understanding of, the beauty industry and crafted a messaging strategy that allowed the firm to speak with confidence without becoming a “me too” in an industry where big egos are the norm. Canvas also helped steer the development of Blonde + Co's new identity, communications and Web site.
